While we’ve been to many zoos, here is a zoo wish list of the ones we hope to get to soon. Have some of your own? Feel free to comment on your experiences on these, or provide us with your own zoo wish list!
- San Diego Zoo – Known as one of the best zoos in the world! We hope to get there by 2025. Although they no longer have giant pandas, San Diego is known worldwide as having one of the best zoos!
- Zoo Miami – We’ve never been this far South as a family, and this zoo is supposed to be very good! Would also love to see the nearby aquarium.
- National Zoo, Washington D.C. – Only one of us has been there, but since we haven’t gone as a family it isn’t registered in our list. This zoo also has giant pandas.
- Bronx Zoo – Featured on a national TV show, very well known around the country. Also one of the best zoo’s in the country per CBS Sports’ College Basketball Senior Analyst Matt Norlander.
- Zoo 360 – Philadelphia Zoo – This zoo has a flipped approach on how people view animals, and we’d love to go there!
- Riverbanks Zoo, South Carolina – Has a good reputation, would love to check out some of the changes they’ve been making.
- Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo – Home zoo for CBS Sports’ College Basketball Senior Analyst Matt Norlander and family.
